Since 2015

Our Story: From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

Founded in January 2015, Elburgon Progressive Dairy Farmers Cooperative Society was established by small-scale dairy farmers in Nakuru County to strengthen the local dairy value chain. Starting with a mission to secure better markets and competitive prices, the cooperative has since grown to operate three fully functional branches—Elburgon, Muchorwe, and Chandera—each equipped with 5,000-liter cooling tanks and supported by a team of 16 professional staff.

What began as a collective effort of dedicated farmers has transformed into a thriving cooperative that processes over 13,000 liters of milk daily, serving more than 1,400 active members across Molo, Njoro, Rongai, and Kuresoi North Sub-Counties.
